Hello and welcome to this months edition of Waffle On in which Captain Simon Meddings, Private Mark C Kelly and General Peter Coleman sneak out of the trenches and poke their heads out into no mans land (the Internet) and have a good old tally yarn about this classic British Comedy. It is of course 100 years ago that World War One started and it seems only fitting we offer this as our nod of respect to those who have fallen.

Hello and welcome to this mini episode of Waffle On chatting away about Doctor Who and the big old 50th celebration. Yes way back in 1963 Britain suddenly had a new tv show, it had an old man, a young girl, two teachers and all of them stuck in a blue box. Nowadays the BBC would be in court for that headline but back then it was the start of a new science fiction tv series and on this episode we give it a good thumbs up (easy there). 

Meds and kell talk over Skype and discuss the wonderful Adventure in Space and Time, The two mini episodes shown online, the big episode Day of the Doctor and of course the utterly brilliant Peter Davison creation The Five(ish) Doctors reboot. 

We'll have another episode coming this month celebrating Christmas with our views on National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Nice.

Waffle On about Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) Hello and welcome to this months episode in which Meds and Kell talk over Skype (sorry but it was either that or no show this month) about the classic detective series Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased). Made in 1969 and coming in at 26 episodes this series tells the tale of Marty Hopkirk coming back from the dead as a ghost and helping his old partner Jeff Randall solve crimes. As usual we play the classic theme tune, and a surprise theme at the end of the show. Again apologies for the sound quality but Skype can be a bit hit and miss. He was a pioneer of British science fiction and often over shadowed by the likes of Doctor Who and Twilight Zone. Kneale was a visionary and brought us some of the most dark and forward thinking science fiction ever created. We also talk about Ripper Street, Derek, The Hobbit and why Die Hard 5 Die Boring is a real let down. Waffle On about Bad News and Spinal Tap Two rock bands, both from the UK (kind of) and both with very metal attitudes. Yes its Bad News from TV's the comic strip and Americas cult classic film This is Spinal Tap coming together in one big old podcast. Both Meds and Kell are big fans of the Comic Strip and also the writing talents of the creators of Spinal Tap and they decided to not just waffle on about one of the films  but both of them. The show is packed with musical numbers from both bands and of course your usual waffle on banter.
