We also talk about the series finale of The Walking Dead.

Hello and welcome to this mini episode of Waffle On chatting away about Doctor Who and the big old 50th celebration. Yes way back in 1963 Britain suddenly had a new tv show, it had an old man, a young girl, two teachers and all of them stuck in a blue box. Nowadays the BBC would be in court for that headline but back then it was the start of a new science fiction tv series and on this episode we give it a good thumbs up (easy there). 

Meds and kell talk over Skype and discuss the wonderful Adventure in Space and Time, The two mini episodes shown online, the big episode Day of the Doctor and of course the utterly brilliant Peter Davison creation The Five(ish) Doctors reboot. 

We'll have another episode coming this month celebrating Christmas with our views on National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Nice.

He was a pioneer of British science fiction and often over shadowed by the likes of Doctor Who and Twilight Zone. Kneale was a visionary and brought us some of the most dark and forward thinking science fiction ever created. We also talk about Ripper Street, Derek, The Hobbit and why Die Hard 5 Die Boring is a real let down. Waffle On About Bad Taste On this episode Meds & Kell talk in a excited manner about Peter Jacksons first commercial film Bad Taste. Made over four years mainly during the weekends this is a fantastic example of Peter Jacksons love for film and getting the job done. Yes its quirky, cheap and seriosuly over the top but the Waffle On Lads love it. At the end of the show there is a Batman Rises review which does contain some spoilers so stop the podcast after the Bad Taste credits theme after the promos.

One word of warning for those who listen with kids this is a podcast about zombies and eating brains, and in this version there are clips that do contain a lot of swearing so please BE WARNED. Waffle On About The Rocky Horror Picture Show Hello and welcome to this little special edition of Waffle On Podcast.  Not so long ago Meds stood in for Rico Dostie on Treks in Sci Fi and  covered the brilliant 1977 film The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Now we couldnt let this little gem go so here it is for you excellent listeners. Based on the stage play written by Richard O'brien this film created a huge cult following around the world. It is still played at cinemas today but with the added bonus of audience participation. The podcast is packed with clips and some of the musical numbers featured in the film.
