Meds was introduced to this by Kell back in 1989 and it became a go to film when not going to college... (please dont take career advice from the boys). Anyway with typical tounge in cheek chat they go through the film and also chat about the coming soon Waffle On meet up in Birmingham UK (November 20th, Cherry Reds Brum 12pm to 6pm)

Its a war film, its a comedy, its a caper and its got Clint Eastwood, Telly Savalas and Donald Sutherland in it. What more do you want? Oh ok we play some clips and of course some music from the film.

Hello and welcome to this months episode of Waffle On Podcast in which Meds and Kell chat away about this glorious 70's movie, The Wild Geese. In honour of the wonderful Sir Roger Moore we opted to waffle about this film instead of Bond (plenty of podcasts already doing that). The film also stars legends Richard Burton,  Richard Harris and Hardy Kruger. We play the main score and also as a special tribute to Sir Roger we play an interview from a 1994 Des O'Connor show right at the very end.

It is of course 100 years ago that World War One started and it seems only fitting we offer this as our nod of respect to those who have fallen.

Dad's Army tells the wonderful tale of the Home Guard during World War 2, full of warmth, humour and good old British stiff upper lip nonsense.
